‘Life in all its fullness’ John 10:10
Together we Flourish with Faith, Hope and Love
Inspired by our Christian foundation and the words of Jesus in John 10:10 — “I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full” — our vision is to nurture a flourishing school community where every child and adult is empowered to grow spiritually, academically, socially, and emotionally.
At St John’s CE, our vision, “Living life in all its fullness” (John 10:10), is lived out through our core values of faith, hope and love. These values closely align with the Church of England’s vision for education, which is built on wisdom, hope, community, and dignity. Through faith, we nurture wisdom and encourage reflection and moral understanding. Through hope, we inspire perseverance and belief in a brighter future. Through love, we build a caring community where everyone is valued and supported. In all that we do, we uphold dignity, recognising the unique worth and potential of every individual.

We aim to create a safe, inclusive, and aspirational environment rooted in faith, hope, and love. Our school seeks to cultivate curious minds, compassionate hearts, and courageous spirits — equipping each learner to discover their purpose, develop their gifts, and contribute positively to the world around them.
Our vision for our pupils:

In partnership with families, the Church, and the wider community, we are committed to enabling ‘life in all its fullness’ for all.
Vision and Values
At St John’s Primary Academy, we believe that every child should live life in all its fullness (John 10:10).
Guided by our newly established values of faith, hope and love, we inspire children to live an abundant, spiritually rich, and well-rounded life. We encourage them to live with wisdom, flourish in hope, value the dignity of every person, and contribute generously to their community.
Learning here goes beyond the classroom. We nurture growth both spiritually and academically, so that every child may flourish and be ready to shine brightly in the world.

Agents of Change
As a church school, an important aspect of our ethos is thinking of others, particularly those less able or less fortunate than ourselves.
We have a good relationship with many different charities and over the years we have raised considerable amounts of money to help and support children all over the world.
