Class Two

We strongly believe that your child will do better if we work as a team. If you have any worries or concerns about your child, please do let us know so that we are aware. You can send an e-mail to the office at office@stjohnsce.sbmat.org. Alternatively, contact us on the playground  after school if it’s a quick word you need; however, please wait until I have finished dismissing the children first so that I can ensure every child has gone to their adult.

Learning in Year 2 never stops…

Please send in a clearly labelled water bottle (containing only water) every day so your child can have regular drinks throughout the day. These can be filled up throughout the day if required.

Our PE day is Fridays. Please send your child to school wearing their school PE kit and ensure they are not wearing any jewellery.

Reading books are changed every Friday, but please send them to school every day. We encourage the children to collect three signatures each week from reading to an adult at home. If they achieve this, they receive a bonus dojo point.

Maths and English homework is sent home every Friday and needs to be returned the following Wednesday. Again, your child will receive a dojo point for completing and returning their homework on time.
