Welcome To
St John’s CE Primary Academy
Dear Parents and Carers,
It is my pleasure to welcome you and your child to St John’s CE Primary Academy, where we are committed to ensuring that every child enjoys ‘Life in its Fullness.’
Nestled in the picturesque village of Keele, close to Keele University, our school is a vibrant and welcoming community with 196 children enrolled across seven classes. Our Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) unit includes a Nursery, along with a Breakfast and After-school Club, providing comprehensive support for our families.
At St John’s, we pride ourselves on being a happy, thriving school where every child is encouraged to achieve their full potential. Choosing the right school for your child is a significant decision, and this website is designed to provide you with clear insights into our vision, values, ethos, curriculum, and the wide array of high-quality opportunities available to every child. As a Church school, our mission is rooted in promoting positive values and virtues, ensuring every member of our community is respected as an individual, created in the image of Christ. Our daily curriculum reinforces both Christian and British values, providing a strong moral foundation for our pupils.
We offer a rich, creative curriculum that goes beyond the classroom, complemented by a diverse range of extracurricular activities and after-school clubs. Our commitment to family engagement is unwavering, with regular communication, celebration assemblies, parent induction evenings, and consultation meetings where pupils are actively involved in sharing their learning progress.
Our close ties with St John’s Church enhance our sense of community, with children participating in services for Harvest, Christmas, Easter, and other significant occasions. These experiences help our pupils understand Christianity as a global faith and strengthen their connection to the parish community. While this introduction offers a brief overview of our school, nothing can replace the experience of a personal visit. We warmly invite you to arrange a visit, where you will receive a friendly welcome and a chance to see our vibrant school in action.
Thank you for visiting our website. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact our school office and speak to our lovely Mrs Newnes.
I look forward to meeting you and your child soon.
Warm regards,
Mrs Sarita Bailey
Principal
